Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What material is used to construct this tarpaulin?
The tarpaulin is constructed from heavy-duty High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) weave laminated on both sides with Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE).
Why is the finished size smaller than the ordered cut size?
'Cut size' is the standard industry terminology referring to the dimensions of the sheet before fabrication. Due to heat-sealed edges and reinforced hems, the finished size may be up to 30cm shorter.
What options are available for product packaging?

How are the tarpaulin edges reinforced for heavy-duty use?
All four edges are heat-sealed and reinforced with a PP rope hem. Additionally, light-duty tarps feature plastic triangle bars at four corners and optional aluminum eyelets every 3 feet or 1 meter.
What are the primary applications of this PE Tarpaulin?
It is widely used for truck and ship covers, cargo storage or transportation in ports and mineral factories, as well as outdoor temporary tents.
What is the typical production lead time and payment terms?
